Payroll Operations Manager

The Payroll Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the payroll function. This includes managing a team, working with external service providers, and ensuring full compliance with regulations.

The Role:
  • Implement a centralised payroll setup to cater for the group
  • Establish documented process notes for all procedures
  • Develop internal templates for use across the organisation
  • Recommend updates to payroll processing systems and procedures
  • Ensure accurate and timely payroll runs for the group
  • Oversee the preparation of payroll-related documents
Key Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a senior payroll role, preferably with a large-scale operation background
  • Proven experience in managing payroll teams and implementing processes in Ireland
  • Strong knowledge of PAYE, payroll compliance, and Revenue reporting requirements
  • Leadership and development skills for high-performing teams
  • Success in implementing or optimising payroll systems
  • Analytical and reporting skills with the ability to interpret and present data
