Cregg Group is seeking a skilled Maintenance Tech II (Electrical OR Mechanical) to join our team. This role requires individuals with trade qualifications in electrical or mechanical work, or relevant experience in maintenance and repair.
About the Job:
This position involves working with various equipment and machinery to ensure production lines are operational and maintained. The successful candidate will perform routine and moderately complex tasks, requiring independent action and initiative to resolve problems and develop recommendations.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks
- Work on assignments that range from semi-routine to moderately complex in nature
- Maintain appropriate maintenance and repair logs
- Use a variety of hand, power and test tools and equipment
- Provide general maintenance support as designated by supervisor
- Coordinate maintenance on critical systems/equipment with supervisor
Qualifications:
- Trade qualified electrician or mechanic with strong equipment background
- 1 year's experience as Manufacturing Technician responsible for production line maintenance
Key Skills:
- Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical equipment
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and organizational skills
Working Conditions:
The role is based at Cregg Group's manufacturing facility and involves working on a 39-hour week, Monday to Friday, day shift. We offer a competitive salary package and opportunities for career growth and development.
