Maintenance Technician Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in Cork, Ireland. This role offers an exceptional opportunity for work-life balance without compromising earnings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Delivering scheduled maintenance activities to prevent equipment downtime.
  • Troubleshooting and repairing production machinery, both planned and unplanned maintenance tasks.
  • Conducting root cause analysis to implement lasting solutions and minimize downtime.
  • Collaborating with Line Support teams to maximize machine uptime and output.
  • Partnering with engineers and value streams on projects to eliminate recurring issues.
  • Contributing to 5 S + Safety and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Reporting effectively on maintenance activities and equipment status.
Requirements:
  • A Level 6 Qualification (trade or relevant discipline) is required.
  • Strong electrical and electronic repair/diagnostic skills are essential.
  • Mechanical problem-solving expertise, with experience in pneumatics, is necessary.
  • Previous manufacturing experience, particularly in medical devices, pharma, or regulated industries, is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of GMP; cleanroom experience beneficial but not essential.
  • Proficiency with computers and maintenance systems (CMMS) is required.
