Transportation Specialist

As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for maintaining our high standards and working as a member of a highly effective and efficient team.
- Organise deliveries in a timely manner and maintain accurate records.
- Maintain excellent customer relations by being courteous and helpful at all times and report any issues that may arise.
- Generate additional sales through the delivery process using market insights and promotional information.
- Provide valuable insights to management regarding competitor activity and potential business opportunities.
- Drive the company vehicle in a safe and considerate manner with due regard to road traffic laws and company policies.
- Ensure the vehicle is always clean and well-maintained, conducting daily checks on essential systems.
- Report any incidents or accidents involving the company vehicle promptly.
- Collect payment for cash-on-delivery invoices securely and efficiently.
- Adhere to health and safety protocols to protect yourself and others.
- Notify management of any vehicle defects and provide advance warning of maintenance schedules.
- Assist with additional duties to maintain a clean and tidy work environment.
- Support warehouse operations with stock management, picking, and auditing tasks.
- Perform other reasonable duties as directed by management.
Key requirements include a full driving licence, strong communication skills, high levels of focus, energy, and drive, good business acumen, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
