We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Excellence Specialist to join our team.

Main Objectives

  • Maintain and continuously improve the site's Operational Excellence program, including elements such as Manufacturing Operating System (MOS) Tier Reviews, Sitewide 6S Program, and weekly Problem-Solving RCA Hub.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement across the site.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency across all direct manufacturing and support functions.
  • Lead and execute improvement projects, problem-solving activities, and Kaizen events using OpEx and Lean tools to achieve quality, productivity, efficiency, and cost targets.
  • Gain Green Belt certification and deliver training on Yellow Belt, RCA, and 6S tools.
  • Advocate for digital tools such as Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Apps and continually upskill in their use.
  • Function as a Change Agent to influence employees to engage with OpEx and identify opportunities to apply lean techniques, tools, and philosophies.
  • Manage the site Project Management Office (PMO) to drive timely project delivery and maintain performance dashboards.
  • Collaborate with project managers and teams to develop project plans, establish timelines, and use project management tools.
  • Manage departmental and site KPIs and reporting, including maintaining visual boards.
  • Maintain and drive visual management and data understanding throughout the plant, including mentoring other functions on data and digital analysis best practices.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field is desirable, preferably in Manufacturing/Engineering/Science or Quality discipline.
  • Two years' relevant experience in an equivalent role, preferably in OpEx, Continuous Improvement, or Manufacturing environment with experience in delivering continuous improvement.
  • Lean Six Sigma or other Process Improvement methodologies experience.
  • Power BI/Power Automate/Power App experience is an advantage.
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
