Job Description

This is a challenging opportunity to join our team as an Electrical/Mechanical Technician in Data Center Operations.

We are seeking an experienced professional with expertise in electrical and mechanical systems to maintain, operate, and troubleshoot mission-critical data center facilities equipment. This role involves working with a variety of complex systems, including standby diesel generators, 3-phase electrical systems, and wet cell batteries.

You will be part of a diverse team that works together to ensure the smooth operation of our data centers. Your technical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities will be invaluable assets to our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and record information from electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment to ensure 24/7 reliability and availability.
  • Assist in troubleshooting of facility and rack-level events within internal Service Level Agreements (SLA).
  • Perform PM, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and repair of electrical and mechanical equipment.
  • Technical writing to support change management program.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in electrical or mechanical maintenance, preferably in a data center environment.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
