Environmental Health and Safety Manager

Our company seeks an EHS professional to lead and implement high EHS standards and influence a proactive EHS operating culture in our manufacturing site.
Duties & Responsibilities:- Interpret regulatory changes, provide guidance on Health and Safety legislation, and ensure compliance with IE Licensing and ISO45001/ISO14001 Standard requirements.
- Offer EHS support to site operations, ensuring compliance with Lower Tier SEVESO and ATEX requirements.
- Perform EHS assessments, approve process and equipment changes, and maintain relationships with the EHS team and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Regulatory Authorities, external and internal stakeholders, and local management to develop and implement EHS strategies.
- Lead audits and inspections, compile EHS metrics and KPIs data, and trend for Corporate EHS and site Management.
- Maintain EHS systems, including Chemical Management System, Accident/Incident reporting system, Occupational monitoring, and lead/participate in Root Cause Investigations as required.
- Conduct Risk Assessments with area experts as needed.
We seek candidates with a Higher Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent, minimum 3 years post-qualification experience, and extensive experience within a regulated manufacturing environment. Life Science or Pharmaceutical experience is desirable, along with strong experience in chemical management system and machine safety, and/or regulatory/IE Licensing. The ideal candidate will possess leadership and organizational skills, ability to influence and motivate colleagues, and highly motivated with a passion for EHS.
