The Role of Environmental Health Specialist:
Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced environmental health professional to join our team on a major project in Cork. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of health and safety across our dynamic construction site.
Responsibilities:- Support the Health & Safety Manager in all site safety matters
- Ensure compliance with company and site-specific safety protocols
- Conduct site inspections, audits, and daily safety walks
- Deliver inductions and toolbox talks
- Review subcontractor documentation (RAMS, SPA, etc.)
- Assist in incident investigations and reporting
- Chair safety meetings and identify training needs
- Maintain and update the Safety Management System
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar environmental health role
- Strong background in construction safety and pharma construction experience
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
