We are seeking an accomplished Claims Handler to manage a portfolio of motor, employer, and public liability injury and damage claims.

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Advanced professional qualifications in both Personal and Commercial Insurance
  • Experience in handling injury or liability claims with strong analytical thinking
  • A solid understanding of the Personal Injuries Assessment Board and litigation processes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Able to effectively manage multiple stakeholders under pressure

The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering outstanding customer service, making early and accurate decisions on liability, indemnity, quantum, and settlement strategy. They will also collaborate with solicitors, legal teams, and external service providers when needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a diverse portfolio of motor, employer, and public liability injury and damage claims
  • Handle claims through direct settlement, PIAB, pre-litigation, and litigation stages
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring empathy, clarity, and efficiency in every interaction
  • Make early and accurate decisions on liability, indemnity, quantum, and settlement strategy
  • Collaborate with solicitors, legal teams, and external service providers when needed
  • Identify and pursue fraud and recovery opportunities
  • Maintain full compliance with regulatory standards and internal processes
