Key Responsibilities:- Leading and managing the client asset oversight function, maintaining a high level of integrity and adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Providing regular updates to the risk and compliance committee and the board of directors on client asset matters.
- Oversight of daily operations and compliance with client asset regulations, including the Daily Calculation and Daily Reconciliation.
- Ensuring the Client Asset Management Plan (CAMP) is effectively implemented, reviewed, and updated as necessary.
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate client asset-related risks.
- In-depth knowledge of Client Asset rules and Regulations in Ireland, along with associated guidance and their application to businesses and processes.
- Familiarity with MiFID/UK CAAS would be advantageous.
- Experience delivering or managing a compliance function focused on client asset regulations.
- Evidence of operational risk expertise, with the ability to identify risks and develop mitigating controls across front-to-back processes.
- An analytical thinker with excellent communication skills and strong leadership abilities.
