Director of Engineering Job Description

We are seeking a visionary technology leader to spearhead the development of impactful software and data platforms that revolutionize care for people living with chronic conditions.

Job Overview:

As a key member of our digital backbone team, you will be responsible for shaping and scaling our company's technological capabilities. Your expertise will drive innovation and strategic growth, enabling us to deliver exceptional value to our stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy cutting-edge software solutions
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify and prioritize technical projects aligned with our strategic objectives
  • Develop and maintain high-quality engineering standards and processes to ensure efficient delivery and scalability
  • Identify and mitigate technical risks through proactive problem-solving and issue resolution
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers to foster their growth and development

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in software development, leadership, and management
  • Proven track record of delivering complex technical projects on time and within budget
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
  • Strong technical expertise in software development methodologies, such as Agile and Scrum
