Therapy Specialist Role

This role involves delivering high-quality, safe and effective therapy to drive excellent clinical outcomes.

The specialist will ensure a thorough assessment determines the most appropriate pathway of care and support for the client.

You will provide different models of service delivery including face-to-face, telephone or video consultations, depending on client preference. The role requires adherence to case management processes and working collaboratively with the Clinical Leads and wider therapy team.

Key skills and qualifications include holding a Post-Graduate Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT/High Intensity) which is BABCP accredited, full accreditation with British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP), and at least 2 years' experience providing high intensity CBT interventions.

Desirable skills include training and accreditation in one or more additional specialised areas of psychological treatment, corporate experience and business understanding, excellent leadership and management skills, and general adult mental health specialism experience.
