Key Responsibilities

  • Lead project teams to ensure timely and cost-effective contract completion.
  • Manage health and safety compliance, conducting risk assessments as necessary.
  • Support project management, controlling costs with regular reporting to relevant stakeholders.
  • Assist in developing operational strategies and resource planning.
  • Oversee the quality of work and assess subcontractors.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, tracking financial performance.
  • Negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and prepare for audits.
  • Conduct final inspections and oversee project documentation.
  • Participate in post-project reviews to identify lessons learned.
  • Manage programme risk and develop stakeholder relationships.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and IT skills.
  • Senior leadership or project management experience.
  • Third-level qualification in a construction-related field and 15+ years' experience.
  • Proven track record of delivering large-scale projects.
  • Ability to build strong relationships and influence key stakeholders.
  • Strong commercial awareness and electrical background desirable.
