Risk Assessment Specialist

This key role in the risk assessment process involves identifying and escalating potential AML risks through Enhanced Due Diligence reviews on individual and corporate applications.
Main Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough financial crime risk assessments
- Analyze source of funds information for both individuals and corporations
- Investigate alerts from multiple queues, verifying authenticity and urgency
- Evaluate and resolve negative news and/or red flags to prevent financial loss
- Run checks in offshore databases and conduct extensive public domain searches
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Finance, Law, Accounting, or Information Systems
- A minimum 2 years' experience in high-risk client relationships within brokerage or corporate banking environments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Strong analytical, research, investigatory, and problem-solving skills
- Prior experience in an automated environment or strong technical aptitude
This is a senior role requiring strong analytical and communication skills. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in AML and risk assessment, with excellent research and problem-solving abilities.
