We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our team as Associate Director – Clinical Trials in Dublin, Ireland.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead a cross-functional team in the delivery of medium to complex global studies, ensuring timely completion and consistent performance.
  2. Create effective dynamics within the team, achieving performance, priorities, and communication in close collaboration with sub-team leaders.
  3. Develop and implement plans for study execution, ensuring alignment with clinical study protocol and operational execution plan.
  4. Foster an agile culture within assigned studies, working to achieve sprint goals and cycles, thereby maximizing collaboration and minimizing dependencies.
  5. Oversee study recruitment and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in life sciences or clinically relevant field; advanced degree preferred.
  • At least 4 years of recent involvement in clinical research or drug development, spanning Phases I through IV clinical activities.
  • ≥ 3 years of recent experience in conducting clinical studies in a global/matrix environment within the pharmaceutical industry or contract research organization.
  • Experience managing people globally within a complex matrix environment is highly desirable.
  • Proven negotiation and conflict resolution skills, strategic thinking, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate across all levels.
