Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned leader to spearhead our Console Security team in Dublin. As the head of this newly established team, you will be responsible for setting up and driving a high-performing group of engineers focused on improving security hardening for PlayStation devices.

The ideal candidate should have experience leading global engineering teams, collaborating closely with peer teams, and driving innovation while balancing technical excellence with strong people management.

  • Establish a team of experts who will collaborate globally to improve security hardening for PlayStation OSes.
  • Drive projects from kernel and driver layers, including memory safety technology adoption, mitigation deployment, sandboxing/isolation, refactoring, and other approaches as necessary.
  • Develop new methodologies to identify and mitigate security threats to low-level systems in collaboration with global security teams.
  • Collaborate closely with hypervisor, platform security, and OS teams to enhance security while maintaining performance and productization considerations.

This role demands openness to novel ways of approaching low-level software to achieve stronger security outcomes.
