Food and Beverage Assistant - Hospitality Career

The Food and Beverage Assistant will play a key role in delivering exceptional service to our guests.

Job Description:

To assist with the setup of all dining areas, take orders accurately and communicate these to relevant colleagues. To serve food and beverages to customers within dining rooms, bars, and restaurants as well as occasional room service. To collect room service trays and glassware from corridors, ensure work areas are clean at all times, follow hygiene regulations, and use opportunities to maximize guest revenue by upselling and needs-based selling.

Responsibilities:
  • Set up dining areas for optimal guest experience
  • Take accurate orders and communicate them to relevant colleagues
  • Serve food and beverages to customers in various outlets and settings
  • Collect room service trays and glassware
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards
  • Upsell and cross-sell opportunities to maximize revenue
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of orders and bills
Requirements:
  • Strong work ethic and customer-centric mindset required
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills essential
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills necessary
  • Ability to learn new information systems required
  • Resilience and ability to work under pressure advantageous
