About this role:
Assisting passengers with reduced mobility and disabilities is a key part of this job. As a Security Officer, you will be the first point of contact for many people, so making a good impression is vital. You will need to work variable shifts, depending on business needs.

The main tasks associated with this role include assisting passengers in a pleasant and professional manner, assessing their mobility requirements, and using equipment to assist them through the premises. You will also be responsible for passing on relevant information to the team leader/control department, treating OCS equipment and communication devices with respect, and responding to allocated tasks in a timely fashion.

You will work closely with airport and airline personnel, promoting Manchester Arndale as a professional service provider by maintaining a reliable, safe, and efficient service. You will also be required to collect and return wheelchairs to storage points, maintain your knowledge and skills through training courses, and work within your capabilities.
