Senior Geologist Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Geologist to join our team. As a Senior Geologist, you will be responsible for contributing to high-quality project delivery by providing pragmatic solutions to environmental and engineering challenges.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in geology, with a bachelor's degree or higher in a related field. A master's degree or higher is preferred. The candidate should also have professional accreditation or chartered status from recognized organizations such as the Institute of Geologists of Ireland or the European Federation of Geologists.

In addition to technical expertise, the successful candidate will exhibit flexibility and eagerness for fieldwork and travel, possessing a valid driver's license. They will also demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to high-quality project delivery by providing pragmatic solutions to environmental and engineering challenges.

  • Take responsibility for geotechnical desk studies, field mapping, hazard assessment, and coordination with interdisciplinary teams.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science (BSc) or equivalent in Geology, Earth Science, Engineering Geology, or related field.
  • Preferably a Master's degree or higher in Engineering Geology, Soil Mechanics, or related discipline.
  • Professional accreditation or Chartered Status from recognized organizations such as the Institute of Geologists of Ireland or the European Federation of Geologists.
  • Must exhibit flexibility and eagerness for fieldwork and travel, possessing a valid driver's license.
