Warehouse Operative Job Description

This role is a fantastic opportunity to join our team as a warehouse operative in a morning shift position. The key responsibility will be managing customer returns within the operations team, working closely with the team leader.


About the Role
  • The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail and proficiency with computerised systems (ERP, WMS, etc.). They should also have a positive can-do attitude toward work.
  • We are looking for someone who can effectively communicate and collaborate with other departments and teams within the company to improve performance and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage customer returns within the operations team.
  • Work closely with the team leader to ensure efficient processing of returns through various systems.
  • Engage with stakeholders regarding returns and follow up on outstanding queries.
  • Report trends and activity within the function to the team leader.
  • Assist with put-away and replenishment as required.
  • Loading and unloading of vehicles, and processing of receipts through ERP system.
  • Work with picking, packing and marshalling of orders as required.
  • Carry out stock cycle checks as directed, report product defects or shortages to the warehouse manager.
  • Participate in projects and initiatives identified by the Warehouse Manager / Team Leader.

Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar capacity (2-3 years).
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with computerised systems (ERP, WMS, etc.).
  • A positive can-do attitude toward work.
