Job Description

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Sprinkler Contracts Manager in our Cork office. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering commercial, schedule, quality, and safety objectives for assigned projects.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in project management, with excellent communication and leadership skills. They will also possess strong organizational abilities, problem-solving aptitude, and a deep understanding of project management processes and functions.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing all elements of projects, including project margin management and reporting to senior management. You will also oversee project staff and operations under your remit, ensuring that resources are adequately allocated and trained operatives and quality suppliers are engaged.

Additionally, you will implement internal improvement projects aligned with our company's strategic aims, report project performance to senior management, and maintain strong customer relations through site visits, progress updates, and issue resolution.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Capable in planning and project budgeting.
  • Knowledge of Project Management processes and functions (Finance, HR, Procurement, Design, Site operations, etc.).
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
  • Problem-solving aptitude.
  • 5+ years' experience in the Fire Protection Design & build industries.
  • Relevant qualifications in Project and Construction Programme Management.
