Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Health and Safety Specialist to join our team in Douglas, Co. Cork.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of personnel on-site, as well as advising on overall compliance with health and safety regulations.

This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires strong organizational and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

  • Conducting regular site audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
  • Developing and implementing effective safety policies and procedures to minimize risk and promote a safe working environment.
  • Providing training and guidance to employees on health and safety best practices and procedures.
  • Collaborating with site management to develop and implement emergency response plans and conduct regular drills to ensure preparedness.
  • Maintaining accurate records of safety incidents, near misses, and employee training.
  • Reviewing and updating existing safety policies and procedures to ensure they remain current and effective.
