Power System Transformation is a pivotal objective at Ireland's electricity grid operator. We are the people behind Ireland's electricity grid, operating the power system with leading levels of variable asynchronous renewable generation. Ensuring everyone has power when they need it.

We operate the power system to reduce carbon emissions and meet our climate ambitions.

You will support senior leadership in leading a team of project managers to deliver on complex technical projects.

You will programme manage a portfolio of network development projects, ensuring appropriate project controls are in place.

You will communicate effectively to stakeholders via meetings, presentations, and reports for project governance gateways.

Represent the company externally, engaging in external forums and bodies as appropriate.

Lead strategic change related projects and foster proactive stakeholder engagement approaches.

The Infrastructure Onshore Office is responsible for new high voltage station and circuit projects as well as upgrading and refurbishment projects on the existing network.

The Network Projects team oversees planning and implementation of power system infrastructure in Ireland.

A successful candidate will have an engineering degree or equivalent, typically with 8 years relevant experience.

They will have proven experience managing large scale projects.

Possess ability to coach and develop capabilities in a changing environment.

Have expertise conceiving innovative ideas to solve business problems.
