Job Overview

The Financial Controller will play a pivotal role in supporting the Finance Director and forming part of a small, high-performing finance team.

This opportunity presents itself as an exciting chance to contribute to the financial success of a leading construction company that strives to deliver innovative solutions to its clients.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified Accountant, well-organized and possess proven experience in finance management and a sound knowledge of Accounting principles.

Key responsibilities include preparing comprehensive financial reports, analyzing complex financial data, monitoring internal controls, participating in budgeting processes, streamlining accounting functions and operations, coordinating the preparation of Financial Statements, managing financial transactions, and supporting the processing of Financial Data.

  • Preparation of Monthly Balance Sheet Reviews
  • Preparation of Draft Monthly Profit & Loss Accounts
  • Preparation of Branch Accounts for different jurisdictions in which we operate
  • Payroll Preparation, Processing and posting (weekly)
  • Purchase Order to Pay Process
  • Sales Order to Cash Process
  • Bank & Card Processing & reconciliations
  • Submit subcontractors payments on Revenue for RCT purposes
  • Preparation of VAT, VIES, Intrastat & subcontractor payments for RCT purposes

Requirements:

  • Qualified Controller with proven experience in finance management and sound knowledge of Accounting principles.
  • Financial Reporting and Analytical Skills.
  • Experience in people management
  • Excellent organisational, time management skills and a team player
  • Effective communication, analytical skills and detail-oriented
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
