The role of a Bartender is to provide exceptional service to hotel guests in the bars/lounge areas.
As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality beverages and providing a positive experience for our guests.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the success of our hotel.
">- To deliver 4* standards of service at all times.
- To greet and assist guests in a friendly and courteous manner.
- To take and serve drink orders promptly and accurately.
- To mix and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages following standard recipes.
- To check identification of guests to verify legal drinking age and refuse service if necessary.
- To recommend and describe various beverages and their ingredients to guests.
- To up-sell and promote specialty drinks, featured wines, and other beverage options.
- To maintain a clean and organized bar area, including restocking glassware, utensils, and other bar supplies as needed.
- To handle cash and credit card transactions, maintaining accurate records of all transactions and reporting any discrepancies to management.
- Fluent English language skills are essential.
- Availability to work weekends and bank holidays is required.
- Applicants must be available midweek, with students being unsuitable for this role.
- Experience is not essential but would be advantageous.
- Meals provided while on duty.
