German Business Partner

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team as a German HR Specialist.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day HR management across our bases with an employee headcount of over 1000.
Key duties include:
- Assisting with all HR matters relating to German-based employees, including legal cases, union meetings, and payroll coordination.
- Ensuring compliance with German labour law and collective agreements.
- Preparing documentation and supporting legal case management and litigation processes.
- Liasing, supporting and advising management at all levels on all HR-related matters, ranging from general queries, grievances, disciplinary investigations, and legal case preparation.
- Conducting regular reviews and administration of payroll changes in line with German legislation.
- Providing weekly reports to the HR Manager on all HR activities and issues.
Requirements for this position include:
- A minimum of 1 year of HR experience working with German-based employees and/or German labour law.
- Strong knowledge of German employment law and HR best practices.
- Fluent in English and German (written and spoken).
- Relevant HR degree or masters.
- Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and pressurised environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
