Export Airfreight Specialist

Job Overview:
- We are seeking a skilled professional to manage airfreight export bookings from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and process airfreight export shipments, ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor shipments from booking through to final payment, resolving any issues promptly.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to internal teams and external clients, fostering strong relationships.
- Coordinate with airlines to secure optimal rates and transit times, maximizing efficiency.
- Liaise with warehouse and transport teams to ensure smooth collection and processing of shipments.
- Accurately label freight for export, adhering to regulations.
- Handle invoicing (sales and purchase), resolving any related queries in a timely manner.
- Respond to rate requests and prepare quotations, providing accurate information.
- Support the development and enhancement of airfreight services, driving business growth.
- Communicate effectively with overseas agents and partners, building trust.
Additional Duties:
- Provide support and cover within the operations office as needed.
- Offer administrative assistance to colleagues in the airfreight department.
- Participate in occasional customer visits, building rapport.
- Carry out other duties as assigned to support the team.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in airfreight export operations, with a strong understanding of logistics.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a focus on detail.
