Job Title: Airfreight Export Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to handle airfreight export operations. As an Airfreight Export Coordinator, you will be responsible for processing shipment bookings, monitoring shipments from point of customer booking to arrival at final destination, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Shipment Booking: Process all airfreight shipment bookings, ensuring accurate and timely information is provided to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Monitoring Shipments: Track shipments from point of customer booking to arrival at final destination, resolving any issues or discrepancies in a timely and professional manner.
  • Customer Service: Provide a high level of customer service to both internal and external customers, responding promptly to inquiries and addressing concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Airline Liaison: Liaise with airlines to secure the best possible rates and transit times for customers.
  • Warehouse and Transport Coordination: Coordinate with warehouse and transport personnel to ensure seamless collection and processing of airfreight shipments.
  • Export Compliance: Ensure all export compliance requirements are met, including labeling freight for export and processing sales and purchase invoices.
  • Quotations and Rate Requests: Develop and issue quotations for airfreight services, responding to rate requests from customers and suppliers.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in airfreight export operations.

Requirements:

We are looking for a team player with excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2–5 years experience in a freight forwarding role and possess excellent problem-solving skills.
