Job Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work across all voltage levels, including High Voltage (HV), Medium Voltage (MV), and Low Voltage (LV)
  • Construct, maintain, and repair HV and MV substations
  • Operate HV, MV, and LV systems safely and competently
  • Perform work on live equipment in accordance with established procedures
  • Participate in On Call and Standby duties
  • Climb poles and masts as part of overhead line work
  • Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge and skills to perform duties effectively
  • Adhere to all safety initiatives, policies, and agreed guidelines
  • Interpret job drawings and specifications, requisition materials, and complete tasks efficiently and independently
  • Deliver excellent customer service when interacting with customers and third parties
  • Lead crews or take charge of sites and jobs when required
  • Work cooperatively within teams and contribute positively to team development
  • Engage with supervisors regarding ongoing development and performance
  • Continuously seek to improve work methods and contribute to operational efficiency
  • Share knowledge and skills openly with team members and support others in achieving team goals
  • Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in response to change
