Job Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the upgrade of legacy control systems to PCS7 across an API production line.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead cross-functional teams including engineering, IT, validation, and manufacturing to ensure successful project execution.
  • Oversee the installation, commissioning, and qualification of automation systems to meet strict quality standards.
  • Ensure robust documentation and compliance with GMP, FDA, and MHRA regulations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to system integration and connectivity.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in automation project management within life sciences or pharmaceutical manufacturing.
  • Proven track record of delivering PCS7 or similar DCS/SCADA system upgrades.
  • Strong expertise in network architecture, industrial Ethernet, and electrical cabling.
  • Solid understanding of GMP, validation protocols, and regulatory compliance.
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or related technical discipline.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
