In pursuit of a net-zero carbon future, we are seeking skilled and experienced Qualified Electricians. This dynamic role involves working across all voltage levels, including High Voltage (HV), Medium Voltage (MV), and Low Voltage (LV). As a qualified electrician, you will construct, maintain, and repair HV and MV substations. Your responsibilities will also include operating systems safely and competently, as well as participating in on-call and standby duties.Key Responsibilities:
  • Work across all voltage levels: HV, MV, and LV
  • Construct, maintain, and repair HV and MV substations
  • Operate HV, MV, and LV systems safely and competently
  • Perform work on live equipment in accordance with Live Work Procedures
  • Participate in On Call and Standby duties
  • Carry out LV and MV metering tasks
  • Construct and maintain both underground and overhead electricity networks
  • Climb poles and masts as part of overhead line work
  • Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge and skills to perform duties safely and effectively
Requirements:
  • QQI Advanced Level 6 Electrical Trade Certificate OR equivalent qualifications recognised by SOLAS
  • Full clean, Category B, Driving Licence
  • Ability to locate and identify underground cables
  • Comfortable with working from heights
  • Safe Pass certification
  • Manual Handling and Basic First Aid training
  • Relevant work approvals
  • Minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience
