**Job Title:** Care Support Specialist
**About the Job:

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Care Support Specialist. The successful candidate will work closely with our Adult Day Services team, providing social care support to adults with physical and/or sensory disabilities, or mild to moderate intellectual disabilities.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in social care, with experience in supporting individuals with complex needs. They will be able to demonstrate a high level of empathy and understanding, and be able to build strong relationships with service users and their families.

As a Care Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing personalized care and support to individuals, tailoring your approach to meet their unique needs and preferences. You will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans that promote independence, dignity, and well-being.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Statutory Registration on the Social Care Workers Register maintained by the Social Care Workers Registration Board at CORU
  • Professional qualifications and experience in social care, with a focus on supporting adults with physical and/or sensory disabilities, or mild to moderate intellectual disabilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with service users and their families
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team, with a focus on delivering high-quality care and support
  • High level of empathy and understanding, with the ability to tailor your approach to meet the unique needs and preferences of each individual
