
Support and Care Professional

Seeking a Support and Care Professional to join our team. The successful candidate will work with young people referred to the house, contributing to assessments and implementing aspects of Placement, Behaviour Support, and Individual Crisis Management Plans. Our approach focuses on teaching new skills and managing challenging behaviour through the Odyssey Model of Care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the support and care worker to young people in the house.
- Contribute to an assessment of needs and implement aspects of Placement, Behaviour Support, and ICMP Plans.
- Use the Odyssey Model of Care to teach new skills and manage challenging behaviour.
- Connect young people with local resources, network with local providers, and liaise closely with parents/carers and referral agencies.
- Work evening, weekend, and residential shifts as required.

Requirements:
- Minimum Level 7 qualification in Social Care or related field.
- Full clean manual driving licence valid in Ireland.
- Experience working with teenagers exhibiting challenging behavior.
