About the Role

This position entails acting as a primary point of contact for BI tools, encompassing SAP BusinessObjects and Power BI. You will collaborate with external vendors to ensure optimal performance and continuity, leveraging SAP Analysis for Office and Power BI to create and maintain reports and dashboards that inform business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and evolve the BI architecture to ensure seamless scalability with business growth.
  • Collaborate with project teams to deliver impactful digital and data-driven transformation initiatives.
  • Oversee and support upgrades to BI software, aligning with change control procedures.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to translate reporting requirements into clear, actionable data visualizations.

Critical Skills and Qualifications:

Technical Expertise

Demonstrated proficiency in Power BI (report creation, data modeling, DAX) is essential. Hands-on experience with SAP Analysis for Office and BW/4HANA (report design, data extraction, data modeling) is also crucial. Familiarity with SQL, and ideally some exposure to Python or ETL tools, is highly desirable.

Business and Analytical Competencies

A minimum of 5-8 years of experience in BI, reporting, or analytics is required. Detail-oriented individuals with solid data validation and problem-solving skills are ideal candidates. Ability to communicate technical insights effectively to non-technical users is essential. A proactive, collaborative mindset is also necessary.
