Automation Specialist Role

We are seeking an experienced Automation Specialist to join our Digitalisation team and contribute to the development of our factory of the future project.

  • The successful candidate will design, develop, and execute control systems for industrial automation equipment from concept to debugging PLC programs.
  • This includes installing and validating new or upgraded equipment into operation, assisting the validation team.
  • Additionally, the Automation Specialist will work as part of a cross-functional team to drive digitalisation initiatives across the organisation.
Requirements
  • A Third Level, Level 8 Degree or higher in Controls, Electrical, Electronic, Engineering, or a related discipline is essential.
  • Over 6 years' experience in an automated environment with a proven track record of success is required.
  • The ideal candidate will have knowledge of medical device processes and product design.
  • Experience with CAD packages and industrial automation design is also necessary.

The Automation Specialist will be responsible for ensuring compliance with and maintenance of SOPs and technical documentation. They will also develop and execute upgrades on current equipment to improve functionality, output, and safety.
