Job Opportunity:

About the Role:

  • As a Junior or Intermediate level Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for assisting the senior QS team with pricing, valuations, and negotiation with subcontractors.
  • You will have a minimum of 2+ years of Quantity Surveying experience and a degree in Construction Economics or Quantity Surveying.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Buildsoft, and other surveying packages, are essential.
  • Previous experience working on high-quality medium-large-scale public and private contracts is highly desirable.

Requirements:

  • Third level Degree in Construction Economics or Quantity Surveying
  • Minimum of 2+ years Quantity Surveying experience
  • Minimum 2+ years experience with a Main Contractor
  • Ability to QS / price projects / deal with interim payments / valuations / negotiation with subcontractors / agree final accounts
  • Knowledge of varying Irish Forms of Contracts and Contract Procedures and Protocol
  • Competent in all forms of surveying packages; Microsoft Excel, Buildsoft, etc..
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills dealing with design team / client/ meetings etc.
