Role Overview

We are currently looking for Intellectual Disability Support Specialists to join our Day Services in Navan, Co. Meath. The successful candidates will have a strong person-centred vision and will play a critical key role in facilitating and supporting individuals in our Day Services while upholding our core values of providing respectful, progressive, professional, and positive services.

The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, adaptable, and innovative, with strong problem-solving skills. They will be committed to empowering the individuals we support, promoting a high-quality service that helps them lead fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate and support individuals in our Day Services
  • Uphold our core values of providing respectful, progressive, professional, and positive services
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver high-quality services

Requirements:

  • QQI Level 7/8 Bachelors Degree in Social Care or a related field (e.g., Psychology)
  • Registered with CORU or started the application process for registration
  • Fluency in English with strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong IT skills and Proficient in Microsoft Word
  • Full, clean manual driving licence (This is an essential requirement)
  • Prior experience of working in disability services is desirable
