Senior Retail Account Executive

We are seeking a highly motivated Key Account Manager to join our team. As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing existing retail accounts and securing new business opportunities.
Job Description:The successful candidate will have the confidence and professionalism to engage with senior contacts within target businesses. Building and maintaining strong relationships will be key to success in this role.
You will actively seek out new business opportunities, establishing connections with key decision-makers within target clientpanies. This will involve using all available tools to gather important information.
As a Key Account Manager, you will schedule meetings with these contacts and present tailored proposals that highlight the value we can offer.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:- Build strong & close relationships with existing clients
- Delivery of agreed business targets
- Delivery of account specific contractual obligations
- Development and ongoing management of a new business pipeline
- Work with our Technology team to create, deliver and roll out any POS or PSP developments
- Coordination of store staff training activities within existing & newly won accounts
- Manage the relationship with UK POSpany partners
- Work closely with our Payments team to drive new business leads from partnerpany
- Account contract negotiations
- Customer relationship management
- Accurate use of our CRM system to capture opportunities, plan, record and report account specific activity
To succeed as a Key Account Manager, you will need:
- A high level of drive and tenacity
- Self-motivated, customer focused and target driven
- Strong team player with the ability to work autonomously and use initiative
- Proven experience of winning new business
- Excellent at building and managing customer relationships
- Business acumen andmerciality with understanding of all stages of the sales cycle
- Negotiation and influencing skills
- Strongmunication and presentation skills
- Ability to sell the full product portfolio
- Priority planning skills
- Good knowledge of MS Office products
