Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated professional to join our team in providing exceptional service to guests.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide efficient, prompt and courteous service to guests
  • Serve guests promptly and courteously
  • Record guest orders accurately and serve food and beverage orders efficiently
  • Check periodically with guests to ensure their needs are met
  • Process guest checks accurately and handle payments professionally
  • Deal with compliments and complaints, reporting them to the manager/supervisor
  • Arrange furniture as needed to maintain an inviting atmosphere
  • Ensure the working area and station are stocked and clean at all times
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of the menu, wine and beer list to advise guests on selection and promote additional sales
  • Promote additional sales by taking opportunities to up-sell, in a professional and courteous manner
Additional Responsibilities
  • Stay current with hotel activities and attend required meetings and training sessions
  • Acknowledge flexible work schedules necessary for uninterrupted service to hotel guests
  • Continuously strive for professionalism in your job function
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a food and beverage service role, preferably within a hotel setting
  • Proven experience supporting meetings and events
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with guests
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
  • A positive and enthusiastic attitude with a dedication to exceeding guest expectations
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • A flexible approach to scheduling, including evenings and weekends
