Switchgear Quotations Specialist

Job Role: Tender Specialist
Job Description:The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing customer requirements, preparing quotation documentation and playing a key part in securing business within mission-critical low-voltage switchgear projects.
- Take ownership of assigned switchgear tender processes, from enquiry through to tender submission.
- Review customer specifications, documents, and drawings to ensure compliance with tender requirements.
- Prepare detailed and precise switchgear project quotations and tender documents.
- Work closely with the Sales Director to align proposals with customer needs.
- Collaborate with colleagues across teams for material and labour requirements.
- Update internal pricing and design templates to reflect industry developments and best practices.
- Maintain regular communication with customers to clarify requirements and provide timely updates.
- Follow up proactively on quoted projects.
- Engineering qualification (Degree or Electrical Trade).
- Technical understanding of switchgear is highly desirable.
- Experience working on tenders exceeding €5 million in sectors like pharmaceutical, industrial, or data centres is an advantage.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills to work directly with clients and colleagues.
- Proven ability to prioritise workloads and meet bid deadlines under pressure.
- Fluent English with exceptional written and verbal communication.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; SAP Business One experience is beneficial.
