About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Fiber Engineer to join our team. As part of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and scaling one of the world's largest and most complex networks.


Key Responsibilities
  • Design fiber solutions and maintain records surrounding our fiber optic infrastructure using GIS and associated tools.
  • Interface with various stakeholders, including Data Center Engineering, Business Developers, Deployment Engineers, Tool Automation, Construction Vendors, and Engineering Firms.
  • Create engineering design and documents, single line drawings, cable routing, and splicing work packages in a GIS system.
  • Ingest and audit GIS data for completeness and accuracy.
  • Optimize processes to improve efficiency and delivery.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience in an IT-related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience working in GIS Systems.
  • At least 2 years of experience in project/program management with a proven ability to work effectively with all organizational levels.
  • At least 2 years of data, inventory, or records management experience.
