Job Opportunity: Injection Moulding Process Expert

The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong background in plastics engineering and experience with injection moulding processes.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a team that has undergone major investment and expansion. As an Injection Moulding Process Engineer, you will be responsible for introducing new products to site and working with the production team to optimize processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Introduce new products to site and develop standard specifications for each process.
  • Optimize processes using statistical techniques and collaborate with the production team to implement improvements.
  • Work with the production team leaders to troubleshoot processing problems and establish relationships with customers and suppliers.
  • Collaborate with the quality department to solve customer-related issues and instruct employees on manufacturing skills.
  • Coordinate the development of documentation in the production area and review systems with the production team and quality department.
Requirements:
  • National Diploma in Engineering or degree in plastics engineering.
  • Min 3 years' experience in the injection moulding industry.
  • Good knowledge of injection mould tooling and design.
  • Excellent knowledge of injection moulding (standard process and multi-component), processing, ancillary equipment, and automation systems.
  • Preferably worked in the medical, packaging, or technological industries.
  • Knowledge of real-time monitoring systems and statistical process control.
  • Ability to accurately document work performed and communicate effectively with the team.
