**Job Opportunity:**

Oxfam Ireland is seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Door-to-Door Fundraiser. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact in the lives of those in need, while also developing a career in the third sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruit donors door-to-door to support Oxfam Ireland through regular donations via direct debit;
  • Engage and inform the Irish public about Oxfam Ireland's work;
  • Represent Oxfam Ireland professionally, courteously, and in accordance with the fundraising code of conduct.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with strong spoken English;
  • A passion for Oxfam Ireland's mission;
  • Outgoing personality, enjoy public interaction, and comfortable working outdoors in a team;
  • Experience in direct dialogue fundraising is advantageous but not mandatory, as full training is provided;
  • Access to an internet-enabled phone for banking procedures;
  • A full, clean driving license is beneficial but not required.

Benefits:

  • Rate of pay: €13.50 per hour for the first 20 training shifts; €14.80 - €16.56 per hour thereafter, plus performance-related pay;
  • Work schedule: Monday to Friday. Both part-time and full-time positions available.
