Responsibilities
  • Provide person-centered care and support to individuals with intellectual disabilities and autism spectrum disorder.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and management to achieve service objectives and promote quality of life for residents.
  • Support individuals in achieving their full potential through facilitation and participation in individual programs of meaningful activities.
  • Assist with intimate care and daily living tasks.
  • Liaise appropriately with service users, family members, and other professionals to ensure consistent planning and coordination.
Requirements
  • QQI Level 5 Major Award in Healthcare or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities and autism spectrum disorder is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to develop positive relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
