Job Overview
This role requires an individual who can effectively manage client bookings and office administration tasks. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring seamless holiday experiences for clients while building relationships with suppliers.
Key Responsibilities- Cooperate with clients to determine their needs and advise them on relevant services.
- Book transportation, make hotel and catering reservations as per client requirements.
- Create detailed holiday documentation and accompanying material such as information books.
- Manage all itinerary's to ensure consistency from website to client information.
- Process invoices and collect payment/fees – approving invoices.
- Enter data into our CRM software and maintain client files.
- Maintain statistical and financial records.
- Ability to work under pressure with strong multitasking skills.
- Administration experience preferably in a travel agency or tour operator setting.
- Team player with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Honest, Ethical with high performance standards.
- Commercially aware and fluent in English; multilingualism is a plus.
- Self-motivated with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Passion for outdoor activities specifically hiking and cycling.
This is a full-time permanent role with a 38-hour working week. During the summer months, the pace is fast, requiring strong multi-tasking skills and ability to stay highly organized. In compensation for working weekends during these months, staff have a 4-day work week for 4 months of the off-season.
