Job Title:
Compliance Oversight Manager
Job Description:

The primary function of this role is to manage the control environment and implement a compliant framework for oversight, monitoring, and reporting. This will involve collaborating with various departments to ensure that regulatory requirements are met and best practices are adhered to.

This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities. The successful candidate must be able to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role, preferably within the Irish investment fund industry or credit institution. They should possess a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and be able to analyze complex data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

A university degree or equivalent is required, along with four to five years' professional experience in a comparable position. Additionally, two to three years of experience in a managerial/supervisory role would be an advantage.

Competent use of MS Office is essential, as well as good analytical skills and a strong capacity for teamwork, motivation, reliability, resilience, and service-oriented approach.

Organizational skills and time management are also crucial, ensuring that deadlines are met and tasks are completed efficiently.

Excellent communication skills are necessary for effective collaboration with internal stakeholders, including senior management and specialist departments.

Regular updates on progress and performance are expected, along with ad-hoc reports as required.

Other duties may include attending meetings, conducting site visits, and participating in relevant training sessions to stay up-to-date with industry developments.

Requirements:
  • University degree or equivalent
  • Four to five years' professional experience in the Irish investment fund industry and/or credit institution or consulting firm
  • Two to three years of experience in a managerial/supervisory role
  • Practical experience in a comparable position
  • Competent using MS Office
  • Good understanding of regulatory requirements in the area of oversight
  • Strong capacity for teamwork, motivation, reliability, resilience, and service-oriented approach
