Technology Risk Reporting Lead

About the Role

This is a pivotal role within the first line European Technology Risk and Security Team, responsible for co-ordination of dynamic, insightful and intelligent risk reporting for European Technology.

  • Development and implementation of European Technology (ET) risk reporting, leading co-ordination of consistent high-value quality reports that provide both a transparent ET view of the technology risk profile and a business line position.

We are looking for an individual with significant knowledge and experience in technology risk reporting, who can shape risk reporting in a way that fully supports overall strategy.

The successful candidate will be able to partner with and relationship manage senior business executives and technology leaders to connect technology risk and business goals to achieve successful outcomes.

This role will involve driving efficiencies in collation and reporting of risk data and raising the profile of Technology Risk across ET.

Key Responsibilities
  • Development and implementation of European Technology (ET) risk reporting.
  • Ensure quality, accurate and complete reporting, providing oversight and challenge.
  • Oversight and management of European Risk Technology Risk Committee calendar, agenda and Terms of Reference.
  • Timely preparation of risk material for the regular ET Risk Committees, Board meetings and LifeCo.
  • Timely preparation of risk material to support creation of regular regulatory updates.
  • Ensures the function is meeting its reporting obligations.
  • Develops and manages efficient and effective processes for the collation, aggregation and analysis of risk data.
  • Proactively encourages businesses and Central Technology Services (CTS) to adopt standard reporting templates, branding and best practices.
  • Regular reporting of risk metrics KRIs, KCIs and KPIs, providing trend analysis.
  • Risk appetite reporting to demonstrate how ET is managing technology risk in line with agreed risk appetite.
  • Control design and effectiveness reporting to provide an accurate and transparent view of the technology control landscape using a risk-based approach.
Requirements
  • A strong background with 5+ years' experience in technology risk with supporting risk qualifications.
  • Ideally educated to a degree level.
  • An ability to set clear and challenging goals while committing the organization to improved performance.
  • Has the potential to lead teams.
  • Planning and Organising, Leadership, Problem Solving and Decision Making, Communication and Influencing, Drive for Results.
