Financial Management Position

This position is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of a hotel. The Financial Controller will be a key strategic partner to the General Manager and executive leadership, driving business growth through effective financial management.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience in the hospitality sector, with strong technical accounting skills and financial modelling/forecasting experience. They will also possess excellent understanding of Irish tax, regulatory, and reporting frameworks.

  • Key responsibilities include preparing, reviewing, and presenting monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, managing budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning, analyzing financial performance, and ensuring compliance with all relevant financial, tax, and legal regulations.
  • The Financial Controller will also oversee accounts payable and receivable, cash flow, and working capital management, optimize financial efficiency, and develop, document, and maintain financial and operational controls, policies, and procedures.
  • Candidates should have a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CPA or equivalent) with proven experience in a similar role, strong leadership skills, and proficiency in financial software and systems.
