About the Role

The successful candidate will oversee the preparation of financial statements, manage statutory audits, and maintain general ledger integrity. You will also implement and enforce internal controls and accounting policies to ensure efficiency and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Overseeing the preparation of financial statements in compliance with Irish GAAP and IFRS.
  • Managing statutory audits and liaising with external auditors and regulatory authorities.
  • Maintaining general ledger integrity and reviewing journal entries, reconciliations, and financial adjustments.

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA) required.
  • 3+ years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 2 years in a team lead/managerial role.
