We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our human resources department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing guidance on handling disciplinary matters, grievances, and employee performance concerns.
Main Responsibilities:- Offer guidance on handling disciplinary matters, grievances, and employee performance concerns.
- Contribute to resolving workplace disputes and facilitating mediation when needed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all employment practices.
- Assist with hiring processes, including writing job adverts, reviewing applications, and participating in interviews.
- Organize the onboarding process and ensure smooth inductions for new employees.
- Oversee the completion of background checks and other pre-employment requirements.
- Help managers carry out performance evaluations and create development plans.
- Track probationary periods and advise on next steps based on performance.
- Recognize skill gaps and arrange appropriate training or learning opportunities.
- Support the creation and rollout of HR procedures and policy updates.
- Ensure all HR documentation is current and compliant with legal standards.
- Promote employee understanding and consistent application of HR policies.
- Track employee absences and analyze related trends, producing relevant reports.
- Facilitate return-to-work meetings and manage referrals to occupational health.
- Administer parental leave and other statutory leave entitlements.
